About Us

We are volunteers championing for children who are abused, neglected, and in need of legal services.

We have over 1,000 volunteer attorneys and over 400 non-lawyer volunteers who fight to protect the rights of abused, neglected and deprived children at every Emergency Show Cause Hearing held 5 days a week, 52 weeks per year. OLFC provides in-depth legal representation to thousands of deprived children. Additionally, OLFC non-lawyer volunteers conduct interviews with children at the Pauline Mayer Shelter who are waiting for their emergency hearings. OLFC volunteers save the State of Oklahoma over $4.1 million dollars annually through its volunteer services.
